medical.ca is a community network for physicians and allied health professionals in Canada. We publish a monthly issue of news, policy updates and practice insight written for clinicians, and we bring members together across disciplines and provinces.
Our head office is at 202 St. George Street in Toronto.
Who we serve
Care in Canada is delivered by teams, and our membership reflects that. Members include:
- Family physicians, specialists and residents
- Nurse practitioners, registered nurses and registered practical nurses
- Pharmacists in community and hospital practice
- Physiotherapists and occupational therapists
- Clinic managers and practice leaders
What we publish
Each monthly issue includes a cover story, policy and practice updates, perspectives from allied health professions, and profiles of members and communities. The current issue is free to read online, and members receive it by email at the start of each month.

Written for clinicians
Content is prepared for licensed health professionals and reviewed for accuracy before publication. Articles are general information and do not replace clinical judgment or guidance from regulatory colleges.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made by the editorial team. Any sponsored content is clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial coverage.
Patient privacy
We do not publish information that could identify a patient without documented consent.
Corrections
